End of life assistance for Rebecca and Cherif

Hi, my name is Cat and I'm fundraising to help my dear friends, Rebecca and Cherif Oubouzar, as they face an unimaginable situation. Rebecca was diagnosed over a year ago with Burkitts Lymphoma, a rare cancer that usually presents in children. While it is fairly treatable in children, it is rare enough in adults that it's more problematic. She was able to receive treatment that gave her more time, but unfortunately there are no more treatment options available and her time is now very short. They rely on both incomes to make ends meet, and I'd like to raise money to help with end of life and funeral expenses to get Cherif through this incredibly difficult time.

Let me tell you about my friend Rebecca. She is a funny, clever, loving person who has never harmed anyone in her life. She's an artist who has made so many pieces of jewelry and other beautiful things that have brought joy and color into the world. She has given her time selflessly to many different communities. At 39 years old, she's way too young to be facing the end of her life from cancer. It's so unfair. And yet here we are.

Cherif and Rebecca have been married for about 15 years, and they are a true love match. They live with their four adorable kitties in WV. He's facing the end of her life with dignity and strength, but it's more than anyone should have to deal with.

Let's help soften at least the financial part of this horrible experience. I'm fundraising so that they can focus on Rebecca's comfort, and their remaining time together, with less anxiety about the expenses that inevitably arise in the circumstances.
