Let Them Choose is an initiative born from the Let Them Breathe community. This is a fundraiser to fund advocacy and legal action on behalf of families against Granada Hills and New West Charter School student V* mandates. These two cases in which Let Them Choose/Let Them Breathe is the plaintiff on behalf of unV* students excluded from school have been consolidated and will be heard May 24th at 1:30pm
Let Them Breathe stands for choice, is advocating for families to be free to make their own medical decisions, and worked to successfully end the CA K-12 M* mandate
Dec 20, 2021 Let Them Choose won in court against San Diego Unified School District's student V* mandate, striking down that mandate as unlawful and ensuring that SDUSD all students can remain in in-person education.
We have taken on this responsibility for these students because we care about their right to an education and are committed to upholding it. We are calling on our community to support and fund these advocacy and legal efforts to protect families' rights to choice and students' rights to an in-person education and to hold the line for the entire state of CA and the nation.
