On 1st Aug 25 I plan to do a 10,000 ft Tandem Sky Dive :-O

The money raised will be split between supporting Shepherd's House Childcare Ministries in Uganda which is a fabulous charity supported by Karen Bawden with regular visits - the charity aims to give hope to orphaned, needy and abandoned children. Karen and family have already set up a medical room which benefits the children as well as the local community and this year they plan to buy an allotment plus trees and crops to assist the community in becoming healthier and more self sufficient.

The other half of the funds will be donated to a charity to be chosen by the family of Kelly Heaume, an Advanced Paramedic for South East Coast Ambulance Service, who passed away recently after a courageous battle. I can't say I knew Kelly except in passing however I would be proud to have the guts to do something to support her remembrance.

I'm setting the bar high because this is going to be a challenge even for me! Wouldn't say I particularly 'like' heights and am not a spring chicken either.
