For quite some time, the Spirit prompted me toward ministry among Friends (Quakers) in the United Kingdom. During the past year, I have been worshiping online with a small group of Friends and I have been encouraged to travel among them. This has reinforced my sense of the need to provide comfort and encouragement to isolated Friends.

On Tenth Month, 2024, Stillwater Monthly Meeting of Friends issued a travelling minute which stated in part, "Earl is being called to a ministry focused on providing Christian comfort and encouragement to isolated Friends.

"Earl is a very dear Friend of our worshipping community traveling in the Love of Christ."

This Minute was also approved by Strillwater Quarterly Meeting and the Ohio Yearly Meeting Representative Meeting.
