All who know Emily, know her as a traveling smile. She is by far one of the most friendly, welcoming, and happy girls you will ever meet. She is the Oreo filling to her siblings Mackenzie ( older sister ) and Lucas ( younger brother), and she is just as sweet!
Emily has unfortunately and extremely unexpectedly, been diagnosed with a form of Guillain-Barré syndrome ( GBS ). She is currently inpatient in Boston , sedated and on a ventilator. Emily's parents , Tom & Jess, have been by her side every second.
Between driving back and forth to Boston from Sandown, managing a home and two other children ... along with taking time out of work ... we as a community can take this opportunity to give them the help that they as a family have always given.
Aside from her fulltime job as a nurse, Jess volunteers her time on the Timberlane Tornadoes board, and as a cheer coach, mentoring girls throughout their elementary and middle school years . Tom also volunteers all of his extra time, as the Vice President of the Timberlane Tornadoes Football Board of Directors , and also as their JV Head Coach. Their children are extremely involved with them as they cheer and play football alongside their coach parents.
Tom & Jess are long time Timberlane community residents. Now living in Sandown , and wanting to raise their family in this incredible community ... they could use some love, comfort , and prayers.
Emily has an extremely long road of recovery ahead of her, and is not out of the woods yet. She will need to be kept sedated and on a ventilator until her body can somewhat respond to treatment. They do not know when that will be.
Any and all donations for this GoFundMe are so greatly appreciated. This is a tough as nails family , who does for themselves. They wouldn't even begin to think to ask for help even in this darkest of time, and are ALWAYS the givers ... well that's why we are here :)
