ENCINO Velodrome Needs Your Help!
We are continuing to work hard to keep our velodrome open every day.
Currently we have various projects in the works that will help us in this endeavor.
Our highest operating expense continues to be the electric bill from DWP as we have been in
Discussion with them for over thirty years as to how we can lower our costs and still be able to use the Velodrome. The Board has agreed to replace the existing stadium lighting with a solar lighting system.
The project has already begun as shown in the attached photos. The total cost for this undertaking is
$20,000.00. Once the solar panels have been installed we will realize the investment cost paid off in
10 months.
