On Wednesday morning, during the morning commute, a mother and father were detained by immigration authorities in Encinitas, outside their home near the corner of Encinitas Blvd and Quail Gardens Drive. This family is now in urgent need of support from our community.

Funds will go toward:

* Legal representation and immigration-related fees to fight for their return and reunification with their young daughter

* Basic living expenses for their child and loved ones while they are unable to work

* Groceries and essential household items for the child and family

* Emergency relocation or transitional assistance should the family be forced to move

All funds raised will go directly to the family.
