My husband, Arlyn, has a mrsa staph infection in his right lung and blood. He also has an abscess in the same lung coupled with pneumonia . The abscess is being removed and tested over the next couple days. (11/25/15) we do have insurance. Though we owe at least 900.00 to the insurance for the emergency room stay, not sure what this stay is going to cost yet. The Dr told us today that the infection in has blood is very aggressive, that it's possibly starting to kill cells in his lung. They also said....he needs 4 weeks minimum of IV antibiotics, possibly longer. This is where we have the problem. We do not have any home. The Dr wants us to stay using this hospital(Banner-Thunderbird) so he can monitor his progress. Arlyn is is a long haul truck driver. We live out of his truck. The company we drive for may not let us keep the truck for 4 or more weeks with out driving . We have no place for us, our stuff or our 2 dogs, roxie and roo. We are hoping to raise money to:
1)pay whatever is not covered by insurance.
2) rent a cheap apartment next to the hospital.
3) basics, like a bed and food to live off off until either I can find find a job, and or, Arlyn can go back to work.
If you can helps us we would greatly appreciate that more than you would ever know. Arlyn never asks for much,
and Iwould like to everything I can to
help him get better.
