Help Enas and Her 5 Children Survive in Gaza

My name is Lurin, and I’m a Canadian citizen.
I’m organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friend Enas, a mother of five in Gaza who has lost everything but her strength.

This family’s story goes far beyond the rubble and loss — it is a testament to a mother’s unbreakable love and the quiet strength of five children who refuse to let war steal their dreams. They have lost everything they once knew: their home, their memories, their sense of safety. Now, they survive in a fragile, tattered tent under Gaza’s relentless sun and cold nights, sharing just one meager meal a day—if they are lucky. Their mother, weakened by painful liver cysts and the weight of chronic illness, wakes every morning uncertain if she can provide even the bare essentials for her children. Yet, despite the crushing hardship and endless uncertainty, she fights on, searching desperately for scholarships, medical care abroad, and any possible escape from the siege. To her, giving up is not an option because her children’s futures depend on her courage and hope.

Her eldest, Ibrahim, clings to the dream of becoming a doctor, even as the war tore apart the university he once attended. By candlelight, he pores over tattered medical textbooks, holding onto the belief that one day he can heal others just as his family desperately needs healing now. Yousef, with his quiet passion for technology, dreamed of building a life in IT beyond Gaza’s borders — a future now clouded by blockade and destruction. Suhaib, still a high school student on the cusp of his final year, studies wherever he can find a quiet corner, knowing that without proper schooling, the future he imagined is slipping away. Lamar, the gentle artist of the family, who once filled their home with the soulful sound of her violin, now lives in silence, her music stolen by war. And little Judy, the youngest, barely old enough to understand why her world has changed so drastically, wakes each day hungry, frightened, and robbed of the childhood she deserves — a childhood filled with laughter, play, and safety.

This family’s plight is heartbreaking — but their spirit is extraordinary. Your support can be the lifeline that turns their story from one of survival to one of hope and renewal. Every donation is more than money — it is Ibrahim’s stethoscope, the key to continuing his medical studies. It is Yousef’s laptop, opening the door to the digital world he longs for. It is Suhaib’s textbooks and school fees, enabling him to sit for exams and keep his dreams alive. It is Lamar’s violin, waiting to sing again. It is Judy’s warm meal, her chance to be a child. And it is the mother’s surgery, the medical care that could save her life and keep her strong for the fight ahead.

By opening your heart and your hand, you become the hope this family so desperately needs — the spark that will help them rise from the ashes, rebuild their lives with dignity, and reclaim a future stolen by war.
