Enana's Top Surgery Fund

We're fundraising to support our friend Enana to access gender-affirming care! The expense of top surgery is quoted at around €8,000, therefore our goal is to raise €10,000 to account for medical supplies and necessary time off work for Enana’s recovery. With your donations, they would aim to schedule their operation ASAP - ideally as soon as this autumn 2024.

As some of you may know, Enana has been transitioning since 2019 and suffering from dysphoria for many years. Unfortunately the German medical system and health insurances do not cover the costs of top surgery for intersex people. Therefore we are taking matters into our own hands, and asking for the support of our community to help Enana access this life-saving care. Community is stronger than this oppressive and discriminatory system that restricts and gatekeeps healthcare!

Enana is a trans non-binary Rapper, singer-songwriter, performer and activist whose artistic engine has always been fueled by their quest for freedom and social justice. In the last years they have been nurturing a unique sound that represents their intersectional existence being born in Damascus + based in Berlin since 2015.
