Help Henry and his parents.

Wednesday 21/8/24. The day that changed my nephews life forever.

Henry and his Mummy had a freak accident with a ride on lawnmower at home.

Henry was rushed by road ambulance to Wagga Wagga Base Hospital for emergency surgery, and then airlifted to Sydney Children's Hospital in Ranwick, where they been ever since.

Henry has had 5 operations on his foot so far, with a 6th major op scheduled for this week.

Henry’s medical team (orthopaedic surgeons, plastic surgeons, infectious disease team, pain management team) have stated that unfortunately due to the trauma to his foot, he will need extensive micro plastic surgery on Thursday 5/9/24.

Trav, Lauren and Henry will stay at Sydney Children's Hospital for at least another 4 weeks at this stage.

As this trauma has caused a lot of damage (but also could have been a lot worse) his body needs time to recover.

Henry will be in a special brace screwed/pinned to his leg/foot, to prevent any weight or pressure onto his heel, to prevent any complications & help with his healing process.

The journey to getting Henry better will be a long one, he will walk again but it will be emotionally, mentally and physically a challenge for this gorgeous family.
