Bonjour à tous,
Je m'appelle Natacha Jeunet et je suis à 2 doigts de partir étudier à Berklee College of Music qui est l'une des écoles les plus reconnues au monde, basée à Boston (Etats-Unis).
Je chante depuis toute petite du coup.. il y a eu les premiers covers devant le miroir, les premières représentations en famille, les premiers concerts, et finalement, aujourd'hui à 22 ans, je peux dire que cette passion est mon métier.
Grâce à mes proches et aux musiciens avec lesquels j'ai commencé à jouer à partir de mes 17 ans, j'ai compris que, comme pour tous les corps de métier, il était important d'étudier et de se donner les moyens pour réussir.
C'est dans cette optique qu'après avoir étudier 3 ans à l'IMEP Paris College Music (école de musiques actuelles et jazz), j'ai auditionné pour accéder au "Professional Diploma" dispensé par Berklee en tant que chanteuse.
En plus d'être acceptée, j'ai eu la chance de recevoir une bourse d'étude mais j'ai du différer mon départ d'un an afin de trouver d'autres fonds.
Ainsi j'ai poussé mes recherches et j'ai découvert la Commission Franco-Américaine Fulbright qui m'a mise en lien avec la Fondation Georges Lurcy.
Après deux entretiens, une pré-sélection et une décision prise à New-York, j'obtenais en mai 2019 une bourse de la part de cette fondation pour partir à Boston.
Ce que je n'avais pas prévu, ce sont les 8000 dollars d'augmentation du coût de l'année scolaire de 2018 à 2019.
C'est dans ce contexte que je vous sollicite aujourd'hui car je veux croire jusqu'au bout en ma chance et que les bourses accordées ne l'ont pas été en vain.
En résumé, de quelles sommes parle-t-on ?
67180 dollars : Coût 2019 d'un an à Berklee
(frais d'inscription, année scolaire, assurance santé, billets d'avion A/R, ordinateur/manuels, 10 loyers, alimentation,...) ;
21000 dollars : "Berklee World Tour Scholarship" (25/05/2018)
22500 dollars : Fondation G. Lurcy (08/05/2019)
En déduisant ces 2 bourses et les fonds dont je dispose, il me reste 9000 euros (10185 dollars) à réunir avant le 15 août 2019 afin d'assurer mon séjour là-bas.
Parents, Amis, Collègues et futures connaissances...
Il paraît qu'un claquement de doigts peut déclencher une avalanche, dans ce sens je veux croire qu'un euro symbolique peut déclencher un élan de générosité que je ne pourrai jamais oublier alors Partagez !

My name is Natacha Jeunet and I am at two fingers away from going to study at Berklee College of Music, one of the most recognized schools in the world, based in Boston (USA).
I have been singing since I was a little girl so there were the first covers in front of the mirror, the first family representations, the first concerts, and finally, today at 22, I can say that this passion is my job.
Thanks to my loved ones and the musicians with whom I began to play from my 17 years, I understood that, as for all trades, it was important to study and give yourself the means to succeed.
It is with this mind that after studying for 3 years at IMEP Paris College of Music (school of contemporary music and jazz), I auditionned to access the "Professional Diploma" provided by Berklee as a singer.
In addition to being accepted, I was lucky enough to receive a scholarship, but I had to postpone my departure by a year in order to find other funds.
So I went further in my research and I discovered the Fulbright Comission who introduced me to the Georges Lurcy Fondation.
After two interviews, a pre-selection and a decision made in New-York, I was getting a scholarship in May 2019 from this fondation to go to Boston.
What I did not anticipate was the $8,000 increase in the cost of the school year from 2018 to 2019.
It is in this context that I am asking you today because I want to believe to the end in my luck and that the scholarships awarded were not in vain.
In short, how much are we talking about ?
$67,180 : 2019 one-year cost in Berklee
(registrations fees, school year, health insurance, aifares, computer/manuals, 10 rents, food..)
$21,000 : "World Tour Scholarship" (05/25/1018)
$22,500 : G. Lurcy Fondation (05/08/2019)
By reducing these two scholarships and my personal funds, I still have 9000 euros ($10,185.) to raise before August 15, 2019 to ensure my stay there.
Parents, Friends, Coworkers and friends to come...
It is said that a snap of your fingers can trigger an avalanche, in this direction, I believe that one symbolic euro can trigger an outpouring of generosity that I could never forget then Share !!!
