Alejandro Montiel Cortes falleció el día lunes 21 de julio del 2025 en su domicilio en Goshen, Indiana, acompañado de su esposa María del Rosario Tellez Sierra y su hijo Alejandro Montiel Tellez. Alejandro era originario de Apan, Hidalgo, Mexico.

Hace unos meses Alejandro fue diagnosticado con una enfermedad y desde ese momento su salud se deterioró.

Alejandro era miembro activo de la iglesia de San Juan Evangelista en Goshen, IN en donde dedicó tiempo al servicio de los demás al lado de su esposa María del Rosario.

A Alejandro le gustaba pasar tiempo con su familia, andar en bicicleta y disfrutaba de la jardinería.

El será recordado como esa persona lista para servir y ayudar. Quienes tuvimos la oportunidad de conocerlo sabemos que deja un vacío en la vida de su esposa, hijo y muchas personas familiares y amigos con quienes compartió en estos años de su vida.

Ahora es nuestro turno de ayudarle a su esposa y a su hijo a cubrir los gastos médicos y de funeral. Cualquier ayuda, por mínima que sea, sera agradecida.

Alejandro Montiel Cortes died on Monday July 21, 2025 at his home in Goshen, Indiana with his wife María del Rosario Tellez Sierra and their son Alejandro Montiel Tellez by his side. Alejandro was born in Apan, Hidalgo, Mexico.

A couple of months ago he was diagnosed with an illness and since, his health has worsened.

Alejandro was a very active member of St. John’s the Evangelist Catholic Church in Goshen, IN where he served along with his wife Maria del Rosario. Alejandro enjoyed spending time with his family, riding his bicycle and gardening.

He will be remembered as a person who was always ready to serve and help others. Those of us that knew him, know that he lives an empty space in the life of his wife, son and many family and friends with whom he shared his last years of life.

Now it is our turn to help his wife and son to cover the medical and funeral expenses. Any help, even if small, will be greatly appreciated.
