Hi! My name is Emma McAlea, and I'm the writer and director of the short film, En Croix.

It is a dream realised. A film I have been writing bits and pieces of for years. I am so grateful I get to bring it to life with the most amazing team in just under 2 months.

It’s about the brutal journey for success in the ballet world and how, in turn, it can strip us of our humanity. From our love.

However, we absolutely need your help to create this vision. We've created this GoFundMe to raise money for the project and would appreciate any and all donations! Your support will be poured directly into cast, locations, special effects and crucial gear.

If you donate or share the link, please accept our greatest gratitude. I truly believe in this project so much, and I cannot wait to share it with all of you. Let’s do this.
