Maddie's Cancer Fund

I have a stage 4 Germ Cell Tumor that has metastasized into different areas of my abdomen. I am currently undergoing chemotherapy every week with a major surgery planned for the day after Christmas. Its frightening to think about it. Some days are better than others, but I'm fighting hard to stay strong and make it through. I remain hopeful that my treatment will work even if I have been warned by my doctor of all the things that could possibly go wrong.

Needless to say, it's been tough, not only physically and mentally, but also financially. I am lucky enough to have a great support team at home who have been by my side through it all and help me emotionally as this rigorous treatment takes its toll on my body. My condition prevents me from working and I am in need of a little more help in order to continue to pay for medications as well as bills that are piling up. 

This Christmas will be really tough, not only because of the fear of surgery but because I am currently unable to even shop for gifts for my seven year old daughter and other loved ones.
