We are friends of Nooshin Naraghi, a single Mom, and her daughter Shereen Van Ekelenburg. All of us are saddened that 14 year old Shereen has lost her second battle with leukemia.
Nooshin has been the sole provider, parent and champion for her family. She had to quit her job in order to take care of Shereen during the last two years of numerous stays in the hospital. As you can imagine, dealing with this loss is very traumatic for her.
This site is set up to assist Nooshin with financial support so that she can give Shereen a proper burial. All donations will be used for the burial and for Nooshin to pay some bills if there is money left over.
Watching Nooshin and Shereen battle for her life has shown us the strength of their bond and their determination to persevere. We will always keep Shereen in our hearts and thoughts. Any donation amount will be greatly appreciated.
