Hey everyone,

This fundraising is being made to be able to help this amazing family that is going through one the hardest moments of their lives.

Arlet has a condition called Mylodysplastic Syndrome with gene 5 and 7 deletion. (MDS). This condition is very rare and is direct causation of previous chemotherapy. It is rare but is typically seen 5-7 years after chemo and that is the mark that they are at. MDS is a condition where the chemo caused a mutation in the bone marrow and the marrow is now no longer creating new blood cells. Because of this Arlet’s platelet levels are dangerously low and she at risk for many fatal outcomes. Doctors have stated that she is not a candidate for a bone marrow transplant because she still has active cancer. The likelihood of the cancer returning or becoming more aggressive even after transplant is very likely and they don’t want to put her through the rigorous strain of the transplant process and they don’t want to set her up for failure.

Knowing that the end is near has been the hardest part of this whole thing. Arlet has been transfusion depended and has been needed them every 1-2 days.

the Prada Argaez family has been with Arlet the entire time and has been trying to make the most of the final moments they have with their Mother.

it’s unknown how much time is left and any financial help would be greatly appreciated.

Please keep Arlet and her family in your prayers for peace and understanding what God’s plan is through all of this because what is not see are the silent battles of crying together in a hospital room and the uncertainty of what tomorrow will bring. We are still trusting that a miracle could happen because the doctors are just giving bandaid treatments and the solutions are to extend life but it’s not a cure. So if she recovers from this the only explanation is Jesus healing her and we have faith that can happen.

Arlet wants to let you know that Jesus loves you and has a plan for you. It may not always look like what you want for your life but His plan is perfect. Trust in Jesus and He will always be with you. Invite Him into your heart and He will set you free.

Esta recaudación de fondos se está realizando para poder ayudar a esta increíble familia que está atravesando uno de los momentos más difíciles de sus vidas.

Arlet tiene una condición llamada Síndrome Mielodisplásico con la eliminación de los genes 5 y 7 (MDS). Esta condición es muy rara y es causada directamente por quimioterapia previa. Aunque es poco común, normalmente se presenta entre 5 y 7 años después de la quimioterapia, y ese es exactamente el tiempo en el que ella se encuentra. El MDS es una condición en la que la quimioterapia causó una mutación en la médula ósea y ahora la médula ya no produce nuevas células sanguíneas. Debido a esto, los niveles de plaquetas de Arlet son peligrosamente bajos y ella corre el riesgo de sufrir múltiples desenlaces fatales.

Los médicos han indicado que no es candidata para un trasplante de médula ósea porque aún tiene cáncer activo. La probabilidad de que el cáncer regrese o se vuelva más agresivo incluso después del trasplante es muy alta, y no quieren someterla al riguroso desgaste del proceso de trasplante ni prepararla para un posible fracaso.

Saber que el final está cerca ha sido la parte más difícil de todo esto. Arlet ha sido dependiente de transfusiones y ha necesitado recibirlas cada 1 o 2 días. Estamos confiando en Dios y en lo que él puede hacer. Los doctores solo dan soluciones temporales pero no hay cura. Si Arlet se restaura es porque Jesús lo hizo con su mano poderoso.

La familia Prada Argaez ha estado con Arlet todo el tiempo y ha tratado de aprovechar al máximo los últimos momentos que tienen con su madre.

No se sabe cuánto tiempo queda y cualquier ayuda económica será profundamente agradecida.

Por favor, mantengan a Arlet y a su familia en sus oraciones, pidiendo paz y entendimiento del plan de Dios en medio de todo esto, porque lo que no se ve son las batallas silenciosas de llorar juntos en una habitación de hospital y la incertidumbre de lo que traerá el mañana.

Arlet quiere que sepan que Jesús los ama y tiene un plan para ustedes. Puede que no siempre se vea como lo que ustedes desean para sus vidas, pero Su plan es perfecto. Confíen en Jesús y Él siempre estará con ustedes. Inviten a Jesús a sus corazones y Él los hará libres.
