EMU Swim Coach Peter Linn Retirement Party Fund

On September 14th 2019 we will throw legendary EMU coach Peter Linn a retirement party at Sidetracks in Ypsilanti.  The venue requires a minimum spend of $1,200 to reserve the venue.  This will provide Peter and his family, friends, community, and former swimmers with food for the evening along with a familiar local location to meet at.  We have reserved the "Frenchies" side of the building to celebrate Peter. 

The $1,500 goal will cover $1200 for food/venue and leave $300 for a retirement gift.  I would love to see more than $1500 raised so we can offer numerous gifts to honor all his years of service.  Without giving too much away, at minimum we will be gifting him a large picture book representing the 31 years of his career at Eastern Michigan University.

If you plan on attending the party, PLEASE donate enough to cover your food. Sidetracks charges $19 per person,  we would really appreciate a donation of at least $19 to cover each person who plans on attending on September 14th.  Any additional funds raised will be given to Coach Linn in the form of a travel voucher to send him to one of his favorite location on earth: Hawaii!
