I am helping an associate get back on his feet. He’s an EMT who recently has had a rough patch in life. He was hospitalized, missing several shifts, and once discharged, was unable to return to work for several weeks. He was finally cleared back to work, but unfortunately, is still way behind on rent and bills due. He may lose his current residence in the next week and every hour worked now is already spent. I know it’s not a lot of money to ask for, and he would probably become homeless before asking for help. The money raised will go directly towards past due rent and monthly bills, helping to get him back on his feet with one less worry holding him down.
