I’m starting this GFM on behalf of my coworker Kasey. Kasey is a full time EMT at Maimonides Medical Center in NY & last night a truck completely totaled her parked vehicle while she was out helping the citizens of New York City. Kasey is a single mother who depends on having a car to travel from Staten Island to Brooklyn to provide for herself & her son. With the costs of living climbing in the city, this creates a hardship for Kasey as she does not believe she will be able to replace her vehicle in a timely manner. She is facing concerns about how she will be able to make ends meet as well as get to & from work. Kasey had been saving up money to get back into school in the fall & this will surely delay any possibility of that. Anything you can donate helps alleviate the stress and pressure Kasey is dealing with & will get her back into her everyday routine to providing for her son.
