EMS worker needs our help! Chavelle Williams
Hi I am Chavelle’s best friend and old partner.
On February 28,2021 Chavelle sustained serious injuries while at work. On standby in Manhattan for a manhole cover explosion, Chavelle was six feet away when another manhole cover exploded causing two vehicles to blow up hitting him with the blunt force of the blast . He sustained a substantial chest injury serious concussion , displaced knee, back injury and herniated discs in his back and neck. He was knocked out so bad the fireman who carried him to the bus thought he was dead . He is currently still suffering from memory loss, cognitive issues, dizziness and nausea from the concussion . He is using a cane to walk due to his knee buckling out from under him . He is currently getting injections physical therapy and facing possible surgery. Chavelle has dedicated his life to helping others he would give you the shirt off his back . He has always worked two jobs and still managed to volunteer as well . Now he is facing mounting bills and possible eviction. So let’s please help one of our own as he continues to recover. All donations will to help him with rent recovery and transportation to and from medical appointments. Thank you in advance.
