EmRR needs a complete HVAC replacement!

Hey folks, The ancient furnace at ElectroMagnetic Radiation Recorders has given up the ghost, and wow it’s an expensive replacement. It more than wipes out the reserves at hand. I’m not inclined to ask for help, but it’s time. The business has always been self supporting, growing slowly as modest arts based income allowed. One might say a low income / high overhead business isn’t the best idea, but…the ART! Anything you can give is greatly appreciated. This is but one part of the ongoing maintenance an old building like this needs, with the central section of the structure dating back to the late 1930’s, when it was a neighborhood grocery and grill.
ElectroMagnetic Radiation Recorders has a long history in Winston-Salem as a small arts based business, focusing purely on recording music for local, regional and national artists. I’ve been in the current building since 1998 (owner since 2019) and Turtle Tapes / Creative Audio Services set the place up in 1987, making it (I think) the longest running studio location in Forsyth county. Recordings by Ben Folds, The Avett Brothers, The Wood Brothers, Codeseven, Squatweiler, Mipso, The Apache Relay, David Childers, Lou Ford, The Connells, The Right Profile, Jeffrey Dean Foster, Subculture, Possum Jenkins, Falllift, Withdrew, Casey Noel, Abigail Dowd, The Bo-Stevens, Unfortunate Gentlemen, Wurlitzer Prize, Sinners & Saints, David Wax Museum, Bombadil, Mad Tea Party, Nemo, Suitcase, and many others have been made in this humble space, thousands of recording sessions over the years, of all types of music.
