First off I want to ask for prayer and well wishes. Back in December my dad was involved in a motorcycle accident which broke some bones and caused a head injury with a concussion and some bleeding in his head. He was fixed up and sent home with the assurance the brain bleed would heal and that he just needed to rest or so we were told. Then he started having trouble putting words together and would have moments of confusion and eventually an ambulance had to be called while he was at work and he was taken to the hospital where it was determined that not only had blood collected in his head which was putting pressure on his brain but he also had some clots. Surgery was performed to fix that problem. However after the seizure he lost the use of his right arm and his ability to speak. From there he started having seizures and was placed in a medically induced coma with a respirator and medicated to alleviate the seizures until his brain could heal. After 2 days with no seizures he was weened off the meds in hopes that they'd be able to remove the respirator but he was still unable to speak or move and started having seizures again with blood pressure spikes and vomiting and it's just horrible so they put him back in the medically induced coma in hopes that his brain just needed more time to heal. However it's now been determined that he has had a stroke and is still unresponsive. So they're just trying to figure out how to get him treated and well again. And while all this is going on, hospital bills are adding up in addition to my dads regular bills. I am just asking for anyone with the means to assist us to donate to this fundraiser. I would be overwhelmingly appreciative of any support. And even if you can't donate anything, even a simple share of the post would be amazing. I just want to see this man who has taught me so much become well. But we know it will be a daunting road ahead. And any support at all is heavily appreciated no matter how small. And please pray for his health. I'm trying to stay positive but realistically he's not out of the woods yet and I'm really scared of losing my dad..... Thank you and have a blessed day.
