Our Youth Matter: There's Hope!

Each year, youth in the District of Columbia are living and growing in a perpetually unsafe and unpredictable environment that make struggle seem like a way of life. This, coupled with the shortage of productive outlets in their communities, youth are resorting to engaging in illegal and violent activities, leading to incarceration and even death.

Empowerment Enterprise II (EEII) hosts an average of 160 youth each year. These young people come from areas in the District of Columbia with the highest rates of childhood poverty, unemployment and lead the District in health disparities and violent crimes. Participants in our programs reside in the Ward 8 community of DC that has the 2nd highest percentage of persons without high school diplomas.

Empowerment Enterprise II, Inc. (EEII) seeks to restore hope in our youth by exposing them to endless possibilities for them to succeed through programming and interactive activities.

Will you make a tax deductible donation of $100, $50, $20 or even $1 today. Your donations will help us to continue to provide safe and structured activities geared towards helping youth reach their full potential.  Your support can help ensure our youth have access to meaningful opportunities to remain safe and gain skills for their lives.
