This summer, I had the privilege of working on the curriculum for Westbury Friends School. I was blessed to attend Westbury Friends many years ago. Walking back through those doors reminded me why this school is so special. Westbury Friends has always had a way of pulling you in through its warm, culturally diverse community and incredible staff. It is led by a phenomenal Head of School and an amazing Administrative Assistant who work in tandem to build, grow, and provide students with the very best.

Westbury Friends School serves students aged Nursery through 4th grade. It offers a unique Spanish Immersion program for Nursery through Kindergarten that gives students the gift of bilingual learning from their earliest years. This approach, combined with the school’s commitment to developing the whole child, fosters confidence, curiosity, and global awareness.

I want to give back in a way that will help prepare our students for the future by bringing more technology into their classrooms. My goal is to purchase used Chromebooks (with locking charge carts) for Kindergarten through 4th grade.

Technology, when used intentionally, opens doors to limitless learning opportunities. It allows students to research and explore topics beyond their textbooks, collaborate on projects in real time, and build critical digital literacy skills.

By equipping each classroom with Chromebooks, we can help Westbury Friends School students connect their creativity and critical thinking with the tools they’ll use for years to come.

Every contribution, no matter the size, will help provide the next generation of Westbury Friends students with the resources they need to learn, grow, and succeed.
