I am a pretty staunch 'non-math person turned 8th-grade math teacher with all the corny shirts to go along with the job.
One of the most impactful parts of my education journey has been phenomenal mentors that have invested in me in ways that I could never have imagined. Since my first encounter with my internship mentor, I knew that I wanted to mentor teachers throughout my own career. Through LRTT (Limited Resource Teacher Training) I will have an opportunity to impact teachers in Tanzania by empowering them through collaboration and mentorship.
Donations cover food, room, and board for one month as well as the plane ticket.
