Empowering Swannanoa's Recovery Together

Donation protected
We are a group of NICU nurses and athletic trainers that came together to provide support and basic care to the community of Swannanoa, Black Mountain, and surrounding areas that Hurricane Helene ravished. What started with a table and a tent has turned into a fully functioning clinic out of a donated trailer with providers in many different specialties, nurses, mental health therapists, respiratory therapists, and more. We are blessed by all the donations received to get this started.

We are now asking for monetary donations so that we can support the local pharmacies (PSA/Sunshine Pharmacy and Health Ridge Pharmacy) by setting up a fund at each pharmacy so the people in these areas can still get the medicine they need without having to worry about the cost.

With any additional funds received, we will keep the money in Swannanoa to help rebuild. Hopefully, one day we can get a free-standing clinic in the area.

We can’t thank you enough,
Collaborative Community Care of WNC
