Empowering our Tracey in Her Fight Against Cancer —

Lisa, Tracey's sister, is joining forces with family and friends to hopefully give Tracey and Matt the ability to tackle her chemo treatment for the next 6 months and provide some type of stability for their family. The road is long and hard and financial burden is the last type of roadblock you want to face.

Tracey is the most caring, kind and generous person. Anyone who knows her, knows they are loved by her. She is a loving mother and an involved adoring grandmother who always puts others first. She is always concerned not about herself but for the wellbeing of anyone around her. She always goes out of her way to find solutions to anyone facing a problem. This is the time when we are meant to help Tracey and give her that love and stability in return for everything she has done for all of us.

Tracey was tragically widowed when her children, Gabi (4) and Ashli (1) were babies. She struggled and fought hard through the years of grief and trauma to raise her two beautiful daughters. This journey, in itself, was an enormous battle that she bravely took on and now she has an even bigger battle to save her own life.

Tracey has been diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma of Bowel, which has metastasised to her peritoneum (abdomen lining). She was diagnosed on New Year’s Eve 2024 after experiencing terribly painful and constant abdominal pain. Pain she is still living with and it is currently keeping her bed bound.

Understandably, this diagnosis has changed her life overnight. She has not been able to return to work and will not be able to for at least 6 months. Specialists have told her, her cancer is inoperable. They have stressed that her only chance to live the life she deserves is by an intensive chemotherapy treatment plan. She will be having a Portacath inserted in her chest to which the chemo will be administered bi-weekly for the next 6 months. She has been researching all available cancer treatments, including many natural therapies that she will be trialling.

While Matt, Gabi, Ashli and all her family are rallying behind her, Matt has an enormous task of making sure all issues outside of chemo are handled so that Tracey has the least amount of stress as possible while going through chemotherapy. Knowing that her and Matt still have to pay their mortgage, insurance, utilities and everyday expenses + alternative cancer fighting treatments is adding to the already overwhelming stress of the diagnosis and their current way of living.

If you are able to help Tracey in any way, whilst she fights this insidious disease, it will help free her from the added financial stress and burden, and allow her to focus solely on her health and fight this enormous battle she is facing.
Her goals in life and the intense driving force of her will power to beat this cancer, is so she can watch her precious granddaughter, Daisy, grow up and be there for her adored girls Gabi and Ash to continue to support them throughout their lives.

Any and all amounts are so appreciated. We are so grateful to be surrounded by such a community that loves Tracey. We know she is not alone. We will be providing updates throughout her journey so that anyone who donates can also keep updated with how she is doing.
