Hi, my name is Will Torre. I'm a high school lacrosse player of Cherokee descent. Lacrosse has had a major impact on my life, and I'm looking to help support Pacific Northwest Native Lacrosse, a non-profit dedicated to using lacrosse to empower Native youth.
Lacrosse, revered as "The Medicine Game," holds special significance for the many tribes who have a version of this game. It is more than a sport and has been a sacred ritual for healing, conflict resolution, and spiritual celebration.
PNW Native Lacrosse exists to create meaningful, culturally grounded experiences for native youth through lacrosse. Built on belonging and guided by Indigenous values, they use lacrosse as a tool for growth of the body, soul, mind, and heart. They introduce the game in a positive way and make it a space in which culture, confidence, and community can grow together. As a non-profit, PNW Native Lacrosse relies on donations to be able to do this important work.
