Hi Everyone,

I am Janice Williams-Lau, a Dominican currently residing in Canada and founder of the Swinging Janice Scholarship Program.

In Dominica there is an alarming rate of parents who desire the advancement of their children's education but are unable to do so due to major financial constraints. Fortunately, for 5 consecutive years through this scholarship program, we have been able to raise funds which tremendously assisted numerous children with the furtherance of their education.

This year our aim is the increasing of assistance to far more children than we have throughout the recent years. With the help of our dearly appreciated existing and new partnerships and your contribution, we all can play a greater part towards the children's future. Funds will be allocated for the purchasing of food (which enables the children to be well nourished and prepared for learning), sanitary pads, books, uniforms, bags and other educational implements.

We at the Swinging Janice Scholarship Foundation thank you in advance for your contribution and do look forward to building a better future by inspiring the children of today, allowing them to not only know but see that their aspirations are attainable. Far too many children's hopes have been crushed all because of lack of funds for education. We can make a difference. The future of tomorrow does not start with the children, but it starts with our ability to foster the mental and physical growth of the children of today.
