My name is Ebony Taylor. I have worked in education for the last 12 years. My passion is the practice of equity and inclusion. How can we make our public school systems in the United States benefit all students regardless of economic background, neurodivergence, or the color of their skin?

I have recently graduated with my special education endorsement from George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon, and have been offered the opportunity to travel to Ireland to learn and be inspired by the practice of inclusion in their school systems. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that would profoundly impact my skills as a special educator. As a woman of color, I believe representation matters and is mandatory in all areas of life, and none more than in education. Please help me raise the money to attend this trip. It costs $2500 for the inclusive training plus airfare from the Portland International Airport to Dublin ($1500-$2000).
