Empowering Dermatological Care in Kenya
Donation protected
Our mission is to enhance dermatological care and education in Kenya, focusing on sustainable treatment methods, curriculum development, and research initiatives. If you kindly choose to help fund our work in Kenya, you will help us launch a new Goeckerman treatment program, in which patients with psoriasis and eczema can receive topical and ultraviolet light skin treatment while receiving emotional support in a peaceful setting to optimize recovery. This program represents a new partnership between Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital and the Eldoret Living Room International Hospital. Additionally, our visit will consist of comprehensive activities ranging from clinic observations to educational lectures on eczema, hidradenitis suppurativa, and vitiligo. A highlight of our visit includes presenting the findings from our newly established Kenyan Psoriasis Registry. This trip aims to improve dermatological services in Kenya by working with local providers and institutions. Through practical learning experiences, we hope to help significantly impact the lives of people affected by skin conditions.
