Hi, my name is Bernard Tekpetey, founder of the Bernard Tekpetey Foundation.

In many communities in Northern Ghana, children grow up with big dreams but very few opportunities. Some dream of becoming footballers, doctors, teachers, and leaders. But for many of them, even the most basic things—a pair of shoes, school uniforms, books, or access to learning tools—are not guaranteed.

Every day, children walk long distances to school under the hot sun. Some sit in classrooms with broken desks, worn-out walls, and very limited learning materials. Yet despite these challenges, their hope and determination to learn remain strong.

At the Bernard Tekpetey Foundation, we believe that one small act of kindness can change a child’s future. A single pair of shoes can protect their feet on long walks to school. A school uniform can restore confidence. A book or computer can open the door to knowledge and possibility.

This fundraiser is dedicated to supporting children in Northern Ghana with essential educational resources, including school supplies, uniforms, learning tools, and support programs that help them stay in school and pursue their dreams.
