Help Us Build Opportunities for Jamaican & Caribbean Students

Education changes lives, but for many Jamaican and Caribbean students, financial barriers make higher education feel out of reach. This scholarship initiative was created to help bridge that gap by supporting ambitious students who deserve the opportunity to pursue their goals without being held back by financial hardship.

My name is Janae Mcfarlane, and I am launching this scholarship initiative to provide financial assistance to students pursuing college, university, or career-focused education in the United States. As someone who understands the challenges many students face when trying to access higher education opportunities, I wanted to create something that gives back directly to the community.

The goal of this fundraiser is to establish the first award cycle of the scholarship program, which is currently set at $1000 per student per cycle. Funds raised will go directly toward:

* Student scholarship awards

* Educational expenses such as tuition, books, and academic fees

* Building a sustainable scholarship fund for future recipients
