We are raising funds to set up a Stay and Play Club for children with autism and other special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), which we hope to establish in West Bridgford. Our aim is to create a calm, inclusive, and sensory-friendly space where children feel safe, accepted, and able to be themselves. Many children with autism or SEND struggle to access environments that truly meet their needs, and this club will offer a supportive alternative. The Stay and Play Club will help children socialise, explore sensory activities, build confidence, and develop communication and life skills through play. It will also provide a supportive community for families. Funds raised will support sensory-friendly toys and equipment, room hire and set-up costs, trained staff and volunteers, therapeutic-style activities, and essential supplies. Every donation will help us create a nurturing space where children with autism and SEND can thrive and enjoy being children.
