2016 was the year we started writing our first blogs teaching people How to be Social. Ten years later, we write, throw events, have ambassadors, wrote a book, and built an international presence. We couldn’t be happier with our growth and are grateful to everyone who helped us get to where we are today.

Artists and creative entrepreneurs deserve more than just survival — they deserve the resources, education, and community needed to truly thrive. Through How to Be Social, we’ve spent years building spaces that connect artists, inspire collaboration, and help people turn creativity into sustainable careers.

The funds raised will go toward two major initiatives: launching a grant program for artists to help support creative projects, wellness resources, and career development opportunities; and producing a video series based on our first book, From Starving Artist to Creative Entrepreneur, to make these lessons more accessible and impactful for creatives around the world.

Your support helps us invest directly back into the creator economy and provide opportunities for artists who may not otherwise have access to funding, mentorship, or visibility. Every contribution helps us create a stronger, healthier, and more empowered creative community. We’re not just building events — we’re building a movement that reminds artists they can live fully, create boldly, and reach their fullest potential together.
