Empowering a Future in Global Political Economy

Hi, my name is Jiaqi, I am an international student at the University of Leeds, pursuing a Master’s degree in Global Political Economy. I am reaching out to kindly ask for your support in raising funds to cover the second installment of my tuition fees, which is due in December.

This education is deeply important to me, not just as a personal achievement but because I believe that my future work has the potential to make a meaningful impact on global poverty and economics. I have lived in the UK for a year now, and despite facing significant challenges, I have not found anyone who can help me meaningfully. I have faced many difficulties on my own, but these experiences have only made me stronger and more determined to succeed. More than anything, I value freedom—the freedom of spirit and the freedom of academic pursuit. I cannot live in a place that restrains my freedom, and I call for it from the bottom of my heart. This education represents the opportunity to achieve that freedom and to contribute to the world in a way that aligns with my values.
