Hello I’m Chris Andrews a proud parent , Chris is my human parent - Hi my name is Bruizer I am a very sweet and love children. I’m an American Straffordshire Terrior. I just turned 6 years old in February, my human parents are disabled seniors.I scared them on December 18th 2024 by collapsing 4:30am in the morning and was sick not being able to move. I was rushed to the emergency room about 75 miles away arriving before being unconscious. I spent two days in the emergency room being diagnosed.I had an addisonian crisis my adrenal glands are too small not producing enough glucocorticoids and mineral corticoids.This is a deficiency lead to my severe care of an emergency Also known as Hypoadreno Corticosteroids. I am still struggling to stabilize my electrolytes. I’ve been returning to the emergency veterinarian clinic every two weeks for the past 9 months still trying to regulate my electrolytes , potassium seems to be a major issue. The Doctor has been seeking out the proper dose that I can tolerate and establish a monthly dose for my injection of Zycortal to stabilize my disease. I’m also on a daily dose of prednisone. This will be a life long journey with monthly expenses to live and fulfill my life.
