Hi, my name is Danika Watson, and I’m a 53-year-old mother of two adult children with a 35-year vision that is finally ready to take flight. I’m raising $1,500 to cover the legal and administrative costs of officially launching Rise and Run Athletics, a nonprofit youth sports and mentoring organization designed to change lives.

For over three decades, I’ve dreamed of creating a safe, empowering space for young people—a place where they can grow not only as athletes but as confident, capable individuals. My goal is to build a recreation center that offers year-round sports leagues and tournaments (basketball, football, baseball, and volleyball), along with mentorship programs that help youths and families live extraordinary lives.

I’ve faced challenges along the way. Two years ago, I started this journey with an LLC, only to learn it wouldn’t allow me to fulfill my true mission. Since then, I’ve done the inner and outer work to become a better leader, including enrolling in intense emotional intelligence and leadership training (Next Level Training). That experience has transformed me—and strengthened my commitment to serve others through Rise and Run Athletics.

Now, I’m ready to take the next step—but I need your help. Your donation will go directly toward the essential legal filings and paperwork required to launch this nonprofit officially.
