Hi, my name is Donald Battles. I am the President of Empowerment Investment Group. Along with Managing Member Carl Heard, we started Empowerment Investment Group in 2020 in efforts to help level the economic playing field, and to empower and enrich the lives of families to help them reach their financial goals. These efforts are established through hands-on workshops and skills training.

This year, we decided to start a GoFundMe for two of our youth who will successfully graduate high school in 2025 and attend college in the fall. This GoFundMe is established to help single parents of youths who have worked hard to achieve their goals and prepare for college. All funds will be allocated to the youths and their parents; these funds will be used for expenses such as tuition, housing, travel, and other necessities. No funds will be allocated to any business, organization, or groups.

As we move forward in the future, we plan to continue our efforts to assist single parents and their children with achieving their goals.

Hi, my name is Emanuel Shealy. I recently graduated from Westlake High School in Atlanta, GA. I will be attending Georgia State University in the fall of 2025. I plan to major in Computer Science. My favorite subject is Math and my interests are Programming, Game Design, Web Design, Athletic activities and providing service to my community. Hi, my name is Simeon Simmons. I recently graduated from Athens Christian School in Athens, GA. I will be attending Truett McConnell University in the fall of 2025. I plan to major in Criminology.
