If you would, allow me a minute of your time to tell you about a very special group of young ladies within your community. If you haven’t heard about us we are First City All-Stars Pink Divas. We are a competitive cheer team made up of 28 amazing young ladies. These young ladies come from a multitude of different backgrounds within your community. We have girls that have been through the foster system and adopted, we have girls who are being raised by single parents, we have several being raised by grandparents. That’s where this team comes in it’s more than your average cheer team it’s a family, it’s a village, it’s a positive role model for these young ladies. If you don’t know anything about competitive cheer it’s takes a huge amount of dedication and hard work to go out and truly win at these competitions. These girls never truly have an off season once our season ended we went straight to tryouts to conditioning and then right back on the mat competing. We attended our 1st comp in November and not only did these girls bring home 1st place they also brought home best stunts and a bid to Super Nationals in Lake Tahoe! With the pride of winning such coveted bid comes the financial side. Myself and 2 other coaches strictly do this on a volunteer bases every penny raised 100% goes back into this team and these girls needs plus some. The girls are over the moon excited as some of these young ladies have never even been on an airplane or would even have this kind of opportunity without winning this partially paid bid. That’s where our community comes in to make this happen for these 28 amazing young ladies. We will need financial support, whether in a form of donation to the team or an opportunity for the girls to fund raise with the support of your business. As a community I know we all can work together to make this happen for these amazing young ladies who otherwise would never have this type of opportunity afforded to them.
