Hello friends, neighbors, and changemakers,

We’re Yannick and Meredith Favre, founders of Sunset Hill Farm NC, a micro-farm and nursery nestled in the heart of Cary, North Carolina. What began as a backyard project to grow nourishing food has blossomed into a movement—one rooted in healing, empowerment, and sustainability.

But we need your help to take it to the next level.

What We’re Building

Sunset Hill Farm is more than just a farm—it’s a community hub, a learning space, and a launchpad for change. At the core of our mission is T.I.E.S., which stands for:

Teach. Inspire. Empower. Sustainably.

T.I.E.S. is about bringing people together—young and old, urban and rural, seasoned growers and first-time gardeners—to learn how to grow food, connect with nature, and become stewards of the Earth and each other.

Through plant sales, propagation workshops, and community partnerships, SHF and the T.I.E.S. initiative are:

Teaching regenerative growing techniques

Inspiring future farmers and food lovers

Empowering individuals and families to grow their own food

Sustaining local ecosystems and mental well-being through hands-on work with nature

We are especially proud to grow and distribute the Purple Tomato, a high-antioxidant, nutrient-dense fruit that represents our commitment to innovation, nutrition, and collaboration.

We’ve bootstrapped this project with love, sweat, and savings—but as we grow, so do our needs. Your donation will help us:
