I am Sonia Silva, and I am the founder of For Women by Women a non for profit registered in Guinea-Bissau, West Africa, that works to empower women and Youth and encourage social innovation. FWBW focuses on practical, skills-based education and career guidance.
FWBW relies on the pro-bono services of volunteers from different backgrounds and professions, residing in Guinea-Bissau, United Kingdom and US.
We have 5 pillars (Educational support, Soft skills Training, Career guidance, Health & Wellbeing and Network of Networks).
We need your support to help us implement our initiative: Tech4Her. This program aims to train 400 young girls, with a special focus on girls and marginalized groups, promoting their digital inclusion and job market readiness. The program also aims to train 50 local trainers, selected from among students at teacher training schools and university graduates.
Together, we are not only imagining a brighter future—we are building it, hand in hand, heart to heart.
