My name is Laura Lenss and I'm the owner of Mama's Dirty Toolbelt. As a single mom of three kids and a homeowner I've needed to teach myself many of the trades based skills I've learned; from framing to electrical and more. As a survivor of domestic violence, my goal is to give women the literal and figurative tools to be both independent and empowered! Here is a little bit about my business...
Mama’s Dirty Toolbelt isn’t your average workshop—it’s where women roll up their sleeves, grab the tools, and take back their power. Founded by a survivor turned thriver, Mama’s Dirty Toolbelt teaches real-world trade skills to women who are ready to ditch the “I can’t” and start building, fixing, and creating for themselves.
Whether you’ve never held a hammer or you’re just tired of waiting for someone else to fix what’s broken, Mama’s here to hand you the tools (literally and figuratively) to become unstoppable. Because independence isn’t just empowering—it’s downright sexy.
Come get your hands dirty, your confidence built, and your spark reignited. ✨
The first $700 in donations will go toward establishing my LLC and website!
The next $6,000 will go toward work stations for Mama's Dirty Toolbelt clients.
Thank you SO much for supporting women learning trades based skills and gaining independence!
