At three months old, I was taken from my mom and placed in my grandparent's care. My mom struggled with a traumatic brain injury and addiction which caused her to not properly care for me. At three years old, my grandparents adopted me.

Even though my childhood has been rough, I enjoy school and history is my favorite class. I also have an IEP which has helped me achieve my 3.0 GPA.
