"Empower Western Buddhist Nuns"
Fundraiser Campaign
What would you do for, or give to, someone who could help you effectively rid yourself of fear, anxiety, feelings of lack, depression, and disempowerment? Well, we have good news for you! Our Zen Buddhist teacher, Venerable Master True Moon, has helped us and can reveal how you can be... the master of your mind, health, and life.
Through our Empower Western Buddhist Nuns Fundraiser Campaign, we have volunteered to support our beloved teacher, Venerable Master True Moon, in her bold decision to reside in the United States and launch this important campaign. Specifically, we promote her vow to share the life-enhancing ancient Eastern practices and philosophies of Zen Meditation, Yoga, Tai Chi, and Holistic Medicine with Westerners.
In October 2025, we are proud to empower and sponsor Venerable Master True Moon to travel to the Sravasti Abbey Buddhist Monastery (The first and only recognized Western Buddhist nunnery in the United States). Master True Moon will reside there for one month to renew her monastic Vinaya vows with the esteemed Buddhist Vinaya Master, Venerable Wuyin, the current abbess of the Luminary International Buddhist Society.
For over sixty years, the Venerable Master Wuyin's monastic presence and teachings have provided inspiration and support for Buddhist nuns worldwide to establish Bhiksuni (nun) communities, ensuring that the Buddhist Dharma teachings continue to flourish in the modern world, particularly in the West.
To help make this fundraiser campaign possible, we present you with an opportunity to make charitable contributions to support Venerable Master True Moon, Vinaya Master Wuyin, and the Western Buddhist nuns of Sravasti Abbey Monastery.
Your Donations Will Help Us:
- Cover Master True Moon's travel and accommodation costs to the Vinaya Precepts Training event .
- Deliver charitable contributions to the Buddhist nuns of Sravasti Abbey Monastery and support their precious Western teachings.
- Provide the foundational funds needed to secure a dedicated Zen Mind and Holistic Health Center in Texas and South America.
