My name is Victoria and I’m an addict. I have been in recovery for a little over 3 years. In that time, I have been working as a peer support specialist at a substance abuse treatment center. I have also been trying to further my education. I am currently enrolled in school working towards my bachelor's degree in human services.

I can no longer receive financial aid or take out student loans. I do receive a few grants. I have also applied for several scholarships. My current GPA is 3.4.

I want to show my daughters that even if you make mistakes, you can change your life at any point with hard work. I also want to be an inspiration to those in recovery. My goal is to eventually be an LCSW. I hope to use my education and my experiences to help those who are where I once was.

I currently still owe for some of the balance from my summer courses. I need to pay this off. I have two semesters left in my bachelors program. All funds raised will be used for tuition and book costs.
