"Hello, my name is Vanessa. I am currently enrolled in Wayne High School. I was recently nominated into The National Youth Leadership Forum: Medicine and Health Care, in Washington, D.C. I am wanting to become a pediatric nurse in order for me to help children. I have had a very traumatic childhood along with my brother, I've made a promise to myself that I want to help children in need, for my heroes who helped save me and my brother. At this leadership forum, I get to see the insights of what real life doctors see on a daily basis.
