Imagine a family in central Uganda that struggles every day to provide enough nutritious food for their children. Through the Green Youth Movement, this family gains more than just a meal; they engage their Head by acquiring vital agricultural knowledge, pour their Heart into restoring degraded land, use their Hands to cultivate sustainable crops, and build long-term Health for their household and community.

What begins as a single garden plot leads to immediate improvements in family well-being, lower household costs, and new income opportunities. Operating on just a single acre with 15 dedicated volunteers, GYM's proven model has already produced and distributed over 1.2 tons of food crops like maize, tomatoes, and spinach, deployed 25 fruit trees to initiate community food forests, and partnered with Moonlight Nursery & Primary School to provide hands-on agricultural education to students.

Now, we are ready to scale this success. A $16,000 investment will secure three acres of contiguous land, unlocking the ability to establish a permanent educational headquarters and a significantly larger fruit tree nursery. This expansion will allow GYM to provide seedlings to hundreds of households and enroll four additional schools in its outreach programs, turning this successful pilot into a regional movement that provides the foundation for families to move from food insecurity to long-term self-sufficiency
