Empower Ugandan communities through education

I'm Lewis Fogarty, Founding Chair of ConnectED International, a charity that partners with local community groups to support sustainable change, through educating and empowering whole communities, in areas that need it most.

We want to promote education for all to bring the best out of individuals and communities and believe connecting people is a wonderful way to do that.

Our short history to date has been focused on supporting Ajibu Community operating in rural Uganda. As a result of our support they have provided sustainable and consistent care and education for children who would otherwise have nothing.

I spend my life advocating for Early Years through this and other charity efforts as well as seeing the benefit of it first hand in my own nurseries in England. Children thrive in quality early years education and care.

It is time we did more, and this is where this campaign comes in.

Funds will be used to get more children access to care and education that can make a real difference in their lives. This includes primarily purchasing purposeful education resources and supporting teacher development.
